Background
Meetings of the BCAN Global Issues Forum ('BGIF') take place two or three times a year. The meetings are open to anyone in and around Bristol who has an interest in global issues.
Notes from the past meetings can be found below.
The next meeting will be:
- Monday 26 January 2009 in the Upper Hall at Woodlands, starting at 7.30 pm.
I am hoping that we will be having a speaker from A'Rocha, to help us consider how churches and individuals can engage with the climate change and sustainability debate in the light of the new Climate Change Bill that has been passed. And of course the meeting will be a month ahead of Fairtrade fortnight, so we will feature all the up-to-date news about what is going on in Bristol and around for that.
