Invitation to Global Issues Forum, 29 January 2007

The forum will be held at the Upper Hall Woodlands, as usual, 7.45pm for 8pm start.

During the forum, we will look at:

2. Feedback on 2006 (Roger)
3. Fairtrade Fortnight (Helen)
4. Climate Justice and 19th March meeting (see below) (Roger and Helen)
5. Changes to Global issues Forum (Roger)
6. Forum time: please come with your news and plans for 2007 (Roger)

Next meeting: 19 March 7.30 - 9.30pm.

Joyce Eribu (YWAM Uganda): updates on the Act Justly appeal projects (HIV/AIDS) plus the civil war in Northern Uganda); also Paul Ashford (UN advisor, government advisor, chair of Montreal Protocol committee) and Helen Harrison, will speak on climate change and introduce the new Christian Aid campaign.
