First Aid Training

The BCAN Homeless Forum first aid training will be running on the afternoons of 22 and 29 May 2004.

Bristol Faith Communities Conference

The Bristol Faith Communities Conference will be held on Monday 19 April 2004 between 10:00 and 14:45. The event is free (including lunch!) but you must book in advance. To book contact Lily_khandker@bristol-city.gov.uk or call on 0117 922 2358.

 

Easter Closures

22 March 2004: the Candle Community Centre is closed Easter Sunday (11 April) and the following week. It reopens on Monday 19 April.

The Bristol Methodist Centre is also closed that same week.

 

Faith Based Regeneration Network

The Faith Based Regeneration Network UK national conference will be on 25 March 2004 at the Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre, Acklam Road, London.

The Hub

The Hub will be closed to the public for refurbishment between Monday 8 and Friday 12 March 2004, re-opening on Monday 15. During this week, an alternative service will be provided from Easton Area Housing Office in Braggs Lane from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Unfortunately, the Easton Area office will also be closed on Wednesday 10 March.

 

Emmaus Bristol Workshop

The Emmaus Bristol Workshop in Barton Manor, St Philips, Bristol, BS2 0QW, will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Bristol on Wednesday 3 March 2004 at 9:45 am.

CHURCHES COUNCIL FOR INDUSTRY & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Are seeking
A CHURCHES REGENERATION OFFICER
Working mainly in Bristol

The post holder will be welcomed into a 5 Denomination Ecumenical Team. The task will be to support churches in the development of Regeneration Projects working with other groups where appropriate. The post holder will also be required to work within Regeneration Structures. The salary is £24,000 p.a.
