GOODBYE:
After 6 years in charge of The Salvation Army Bristol Citadel Team ministry (comprising: the Citadel & Candle Community Centre on Ashley Road & Bristol South in Knowle West) - Captains Heather & Stewart Grinsted are leaving to take charge of Winton Salvation Army Centre in Bournemouth. They will conduct their final meetings at the Citadel in Ashley Road on Sunday 23rd May 2004 @ 10am & 5pm! All are welcome to these meets do come along & say goodbye!
HELLO:
Captains Tracey & Ian Mountford are coming to take up the positions Heather & Stewart are leaving. On Sunday 13th June 2004 @ 10am & 5pm Tracey & Ian will lead their meetings first meetings at the Citadel as the new commanding officers!
GOODBYE:
Heather & Stewart have been Salvation Army officers (leaders) for 11 years & came to Bristol from the heart of the east end of London where for 5 years they were the leaders of the oldest Salvation centre in the world! They say: "We thought the east end was a great challenge, we loved it there & were not sure how Bristol would be. We have to say Bristol is a great place, we have been so very happy here trying to serve God & people as best we can! We do hope Ian & Tracey & their family will be as happy as we have! Thanks to the teachers who have taught our children, thanks to all the people who have made our stay here a beautiful experience! Thanks Bristol for being so welcoming & kind to us! We will miss you! Beaches now beckon us!!!!!"

Ian & Tracey have been officers for 9 years & are coming to Bristol from the midlands! The Salvation Army all around the world is committed to worshipping God, serving people in need & telling others about Jesus, Tracey & Ian will be leading people in these goals! Do come & meet them on their welcome Sunday! You will be welcome also @ The Salvation Army Ashley Road Centre!
